Lisa Spooner-Whyte is a Marketing Specialist with nearly 20 years experience in broadcast and media sales and marketing. She began her career in the Syndicated Television Division at Paramount Studios, relocating to Dallas from Los Angeles in the early ‘90s. Lisa was the first African-American woman on Paramount’s syndication sales team, and was responsible for 19 markets in the Southwest Division. She transferred within the company to UPN 21/KTXA-TV in 1995, where she managed major local and national accounts for three years. Prior to opening her full-service marketing agency in 2003, Lisa was a Local Sales Manager at KUVN-TV, Univision’s Spanish-language station in Dallas, for five years.
Through her company, The WhyteHorse Group, Inc., Lisa Spooner-Whyte was engaged to develop and/or implement marketing campaigns for variety of business categories including quick-serve restaurant, equestrian sports, medical practice, commercial building services, non-profit, education, and visual art and design. Lisa is a member of the American Marketing Association, and she serves on the Board of Directors for the Child Abuse Prevention Center (www.excap.org).
